teachable-review

Teachable is the platform for you if you are an entrepreneur or content creator searching for a way to transform knowledge into earnings.

Teachable is a learning management system (LMS) based by Angkur Nagpal as a side project. It was previously called Fedora. Nagpal, a class builder himself, decided to create his online learning platform with characteristics he envisioned his classes and students could enjoy after getting frustrated over the lack of direct access to students some platforms needed.

In 2020, sources say that Hotsmart obtained Teachable for about $250M.

Teachable’s best feature is being less of a tech hassle and more of being your partner-in-arms to a business.

As stated previously, Teachable prides itself on its simplicity of use. Going around and operating the course will be found easy by tech novices.

When you register on the site, it leads you to the dashboard. There you will see headers like users, websites, sales, emails, and courses. It’s pretty straightforward. Uploading files, reviewing analytics, issuing refunds, and communication with students becomes easier for the user.

Now that I have talked about what I enjoyed about Teachable, here are some things I don’t like:

  • No free plans.
  • Teachable does not have a free plan. However, it does offer a 14-day trial.
  • 5% transaction fees
  • There’s a 5% transaction fee for those who opt for the Basic plan.
  • No phone service.
  • There is no phone number to contact for inquiries.

Why should you attempt it?

I am not the most tech-savvy man out there. Far from it, actually. I’ve had many a day being the most confused about the bunch. However, with Teachable, I found it fairly easy. Akin to a duck testing the waters first, It does take a while to explore the website, its features, and test stuff out.

You can teach how you would like to know by using customization tools to personalize your content. Beauty Bids Academy Teachable

You don’t need to worry about marketing. Teachable has built-in features to look after taxes, payouts, affiliates, and authors. So all you’ve got to worry about is making the content that you wish to sell.

To Sum It Up

Teachable is an approachable platform for complete beginners and busy entrepreneurs who wish to concentrate more on course creation than the business’s technology and marketing aspect.

You can create your online course on any subject you love, and Teachable helps you turn that into a business. Why not start now?
