Teachable is the platform for you if you are an entrepreneur or content creator looking for a way to transform knowledge into income.
Teachable is a learning management system (LMS) founded by Angkur Nagpal as a side project. It was previously called Fedora. Nagpal, a class builder himself, grew frustrated over the lack of direct access to students some platforms needed. So, he decided to create his online learning platform with features that he envisioned his classes and students would enjoy.
In 2020, sources state that Hotsmart obtained Teachable for about $250M.

It’s a straightforward and intuitive interface which makes it an excellent platform for beginners. You don’t need to have a virtual assistant or group member to do it because it already deals with your sales tracking, payment collections, and affiliates commissions. Alternatively, you can focus more on course building.

Teachable’s best feature is being less of a technician hassle and more of being your partner-in-arms to a company.
As mentioned earlier, Teachable prides itself on its ease of use. Tech novices will find it easy to go around and operate the course.
The dashboard is the first thing a user would see after registering on the site. There you will see headers such as users, websites, sales, emails, and courses. It is pretty straightforward. It is easier for the user to upload documents, review analytics, issue refunds, and communicate with students.
Customization
Teachable’s list of partners is fairly extensive making it possible to integrate as many tools as you need. You’ll also find that it is easy to create multimedia lectures, videos, homepage, and landing pages using their power editor.
Users can select to make an attractive landing page with Teachable’s large selection of themes for your online course site. All you’ve got to do is upload the logos, text, images and choose color schemes to fit your business’ branding.

You don’t need to worry about marketing. All you have to worry about is making the content that you want to sell since Teachable has built-in features to take care of taxes, payouts, affiliates, and authors.
