Teachable is the platform for you if you are an entrepreneur or content creator looking for a way to transform knowledge into earnings.
Teachable is a learning management system (LMS) based by Angkur Nagpal as a side project. It was previously known as Fedora. Nagpal, a class builder himself, decided to create his own online learning platform with features that he envisioned his courses and students could like after getting frustrated over the lack of direct access to students some platforms needed.
In 2020, sources say that Hotsmart acquired Teachable for approximately $250M.

Here are some of the features I liked in Teachable:
Ease of Use
Teachable’s best feature is being less of a tech headache and more of being your partner-in-arms to a company.
As mentioned previously, Teachable prides itself on its simplicity of use. Going around and operating the program will be found easy by tech novices.
When you register on the website, it leads you to the dashboard. There you may see headers such as users, websites, sales, emails, and classes. It’s pretty straightforward. It is a lot easier for the user to upload files, review analytics, issue refunds, and communicate with students.
Customization
It is possible to incorporate as many tools as you need as Teachable’s list of partners is pretty extensive. You will also realize that you can easily create multimedia lectures, videos, homepage, and landing pages using their power editor.

It has all of the necessary and essential sales tracking and analytics tools that you would need while trying to analyze your course sales. You can see how well your courses have performed in specific phases.
For greater plans, you get access to advanced sales features like one-click upsells and bundles. With this, you can offer your pupils discounts should they choose to buy a second course. It is a fantastic way of increasing conversions.

Completion Certificates
You would need a Pro or Business Plan to get this feature. The course will award the certificates upon completion (Admin > Courses > Course > Certificates). There are templates available. Teachable will automatically insert your school name, student’s name, and title of the course. You may change elements of your certificate such as logo, color scheme, and pre-set images. But, you may also create one yourself using the block editor (rich text and Liquid/HTML blocks).

- 5% transaction fees
- There is a 5 percent transaction fee for those who opt for the Basic plan.

Why should you try it?
I am not the most tech-savvy person out there. Far from it, actually. I have had many a day being the most confused about the bunch. However, with Teachable, I found it reasonably easy. Comparable to a duck testing the waters first, It does take some time to explore the web site, its features, and test stuff out.
You can teach how you would like to learn by using customization tools to personalize your content. Hex Third Seal Get Teachable
You don’t need to think about marketing. Teachable has built-in features to take care of payouts, taxes, affiliates, and authors. So all you have to worry about is making the content that you want to sell.
